![]() ![]() We were still training troops to fight big, static battles like in World War II and Korea. The big problem was that when we went into Vietnam we were not prepared to fight a guerrilla war. ![]() In fact, you probably had to go back to the American Revolution and the Civil War to find small units fighting a guerrilla war in enemy territory. There were no other units in Vietnam like the LRRPs.
